To become a member of the Exclusive Island Hotels & Resorts collection, there two ways:

• by invitation

• by applying for admission

The founding members, those present in the first edition of the collection directory, were all invited to join our alliance.
We have been working on the Exclusive Island Hotels & Resorts project for several years, a requisite time to visit the selected establishments. Indeed, most of our members were individually inspected in order to guarantee, both to the guests and the other members, the unique and exclusive nature of our collection.

The second way to become a member is to apply for admission. To be eligible, the prospective hotels need to meet some preliminary criteria (see the conditions below).
Once the hotel meets these criteria, the official application must be sent to the Exclusive Island Hotels & Resorts headquarter, including a covering letter and any other information relevant to the application.
Once the application is accepted, a rigorous anonymous inspection of the property will be performed as mentioned in the Membership agreement. 

Preliminary conditions for admission


To be eligible, a hotel must meet the following conditions:

• The prospective establishment must offer high quality hotel performances to the guests, with personalized service and suitable comfort.

• To conform to the Exclusive Island Hotels & Resorts quality standards, namely 'Art de vivre', Excellence, Exclusiveness and Privacy.

• The property must be located on an island, in a beautiful environment.

• To be able to offer to discriminating guests, the greatest privacy.

• The hotel must be managed individually and in a personalized way, whether the establishment is independent or part of a hotel chain.
